Every Fall, during the week prior to First-Year Student Orientation, the Kalamazoo College Teaching and Learning Workshop brings together faculty new to K with faculty who have been at the College for several years to engage in three days of microteaching and reflective discussions that foster conversations about our common enterprise of teaching and learning.
The primary goal of the Teaching and Learning Workshop is to create and sustain a community of practice focused on teaching and learning at K College in each cohort of new faculty and connect that group with faculty colleagues at the College. The workshop also serves as an orientation for faculty new to K.
